Hi I'm Joe

I grew up in a military family, and have lived around the world. I love old music, and I have a passion for cars. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second youngest of eight children, and I love my family dearly. I have a love for music, good books, and a passion for cars. I love to study the scriptures; and I love to serve other people. I have finished an associates degree, and have performed in various choirs and music ensembles throughout the years. I served a two year mission in Las Vegas Nevada.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have learned about the Gospel of Jesus Christ from my family, and I have learned for myself that it is true. I have a great love for the Prophet Joseph Smith, and am grateful for the great work that he accomplished for our Savior. I have a testimony of eternal families, and that my family and my extended family can be together for eternity through righteously living the truths of the restored Gospel. I have tried my best to live a life that my Savior would want me to live; by helping others and being an example to my family and friends.

How I live my faith

I have helped my wards and branches by always serving cheerfully in whatever responsibility I have been assigned. I have participated in numerous service projects for both my church, and my communities. I have always tried to be an example to those around me, and tried to help them in whatever way a could. Serving others has always brought me joy and a great sense of satisfaction. I have taught both children and young adults in Sunday School, and have developed a great love for teaching the Gospel.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

The opportunity of serve a mission for the church is not a requirement of membership, but it is strongly encouraged of our young men. Members prepare for missionary work all their lives by studying the scriptures, helping others and their communities, and sharing the Gospel with their friends and relatives. Both young men and young women have the opportunity to serve missions, and to share their testimonies throughout the world. Missions prepare our young people for the responsibilities of community life, family life, and for future service in the Church and in their community. Missionaries sacrifice educational and employment opportunities to teach and testify to others their personal testimonies of Christ, and His restored Gospel; and how it can strengthen their families and bring them closer to their Savior.
