Hi I'm a CPA and my name is Karl

I grew up in the United States, have travelled the world. I've seen many good people living as I do. Not all are Mormon Like Me

About Me

First and foremost I am a father of nine wonderful children. They are the center of our lives. I am a CPA and while that work keeps me busy and is important to me it is secondary to my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My beliefs are a core part of my being. They are important to me just as your beliefs are important to you. I have deeply felt the love and guidance of Jesus Christ in my life and have strived to live my life the way He would have me live. No one can take that from me unless I let them or I give in to those moments of distraction and weakness. The Holy Spirit is a guide and I feel its presence in my life helping me to make choices that are good for me and my family. Listening and paying special attention to those promptings have always kept me safe and happy.

How I live my faith

I am deeply involved within my community of friends and fellow believers. We share a deep commitment and understanding of Christ and His will for each of us. We strive to help one another and to lift one another as Jesus did for each of us. It goes beyond that however, I also strive to be the same careing person in my other activities including work and community. I respect all who have faith (whatever that faith may be) and who struggle to do thier best to head the promptings within them to follow the Master. It is hard at times. I naturally tend to gravitate toward judging others but the spirit prompts me to have compassion and to love as HE loved. Many suffer in our world today. While I know there are many who would use and decieve others I am striving to be more generous and to leave that judgment to God. I would hope you could join me in being more generous, loving, caring and in helping all you come in contact with so that the LOVE of God and Christ may show through you and give others hope!

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

The Gospel and doctrine of Jesus Christ is about love and service for one another. Christ called all individuals to "come unto Him" and to serve others. Individuals of all walks of life. Each of our business is to go about the business of Christ and to strive to bring all to Christ. That is not an optional full time choice for a profession. That is our profession that must manifest itself in all that we do. So for me we each play a role and do our part and the speaker is not deemed better than the hearer. Each of us have something we contribute and are called at different times to bring forth those talents and actions that the Spirit guides and directs. While we have a structure and an organization to provide order and avoid confusion, each is given an opportunity to serve and provide unique talents to the whole. Show more Show less
