Hi I'm Sister Christensen

Full-time Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I love the Lord & his restored gospel with all my heart.

About Me

I have a passion for music and the gospel. I love being with my family. I've been playing the piano since I was seven. I love to spend time with friends. My hobby is playing piano and singing. I love to read, study, and learn new things. I am a healthcare professional. I am a really hard worker. I do whatever I put my mind to, no turning back. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with all my heart. I am a full time missionary for the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I know the Gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church to the Earth and that he saw God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. I am thankful to my Savior because he died for me so that I can repent and someday be able to live again in his presence. I love my Heavenly Father. He is always there for me and I know he hears me when I pray. I'm trying to be like the Savior because he has given me everything.

How I live my faith

I try to live by my standards and follow Christ. I sometimes play prelude in Sacrament meetings. Or substitute playing the piano for Primary. I like sports. Especially volleyball and basketball. I love my family who is always there for me. I have wonderful friends who accept me for who I am and bring joy to my life. I love to be of help to others. I am always trying to be like my Savior even though I know I'm not perfect. I'm not afraid to be myself. I am serving a full time mission somewhere on the other side of the world because I know it will bring happiness and eternal joy to those who accept the Savior and his gospel.

What is faith?

Sister Christensen
To have faith is to “hope for things which are not seen, which are true” (see Book of Mormon, Alma 32:21 and Hebrews 11:1). Each day you act upon things you hope for, even before you see the end result. This is similar to faith. Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power. The Book of Mormon prophet Alma compared faith to a seed. If you plant a seed and nourish it, if it is a good seed it will grow and eventually bear fruit (Alma 32:28-43). It is the same with faith. If you are obedient to God’s commandments, study His word, and have a desire to believe in Christ, faith will grow inside of you. Show more Show less
