Hi I'm Heilala

I was born in Nuku'alofa, Tonga. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love this Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Tonga and came to the United States when I was four. I was born of goodly parents that always had a faith in God. I am the fifth of seven children. I have plenty of neices and nephews! I am a convert of 3 years. I attended University of Utah studying Biology and Business. I love to read, write, dance, play volleyball and study history. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe religion should not be taught but found. I found my path through prayer and faith. I followed Moroni's promise and I knew it to be true because I could not deny the feelings I had. The Lord truly prepares His children to receive the fulness of His Gospel. It took me 18 years! This Gospel puts me to work! I was a devout Methodist and now I can say that I am proud to be a Mormon because I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following Jesus Christ through His restored Gospel. I read the Book of Mormon to strengthen my testimony of the restored Gospel. I attend services every Sunday to have the opportunity to partake the sacrament. Living my faith is also a lifestyle not just a religion or Sunday only worship or service but I constantly dedicate my life to the Lord. I strive to be Christlike, even though I am not perfect. I take upon myself the name of Christ and as well feast upon His words in scripture and receive counsel through prayer.
