Hi I'm Ethan Hamilton

I'm from Utah. I'm an extremist tie-dyer who dyes everything I see. I love to snowboard, hit jumps and drop cliffs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like doing a lot of different kinds of things (when I'm able to find extra time while going to college.) For instance I like to run, bike, hike, snowboard, spray paint, tie-dye, play the ukulele, and read. I came home from my two year mission to North Carolina February of 2014. I learned so much on how I can find happiness and help others find it as well. My life hasn't always been the easiest but knowing who God is and what he does for me and others has given me peace. A couple things I learned to be undoubtedly true are first, God is always trying to speak with us personally. (Are we always trying to listen?) And second, "All is going according to plan" Have trust in him and that is when you will find peace.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been incredibly blessed in being able to grow up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but I haven't always understood why that was so important. Although sometimes it's difficult to follow the directions of the Prophet, I have always been able to see the blessings that have come with it. I have had to learn for myself whether this was the life I'd want to live but to me the decision is black and white. Live the gospel and receive blessing of feeling my Heavenly Fathers peace and love or find my own way and live with emence anxiety and emptiness. I know that this gospel brings so much happiness to ALL that come unto Christ and use his greatest gift of the Atonement. I know the Atonement lets us be healed from guilt and sorrow and lets us feel peace and joy. I know that my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, lives and gave his life so that I and all my spiritual brothers and sisters can live again.

How I live my faith

Because of my father's great example, prayer has always been a part of my life. How can you grow relationships without speaking with others? I think it works just the same with our Father in Heaven. I am always trying to better my relationship with Him by praying often and reading His words in the scriptures. Right now I have been called, as a missionary, to share the gospel to all those who will listen. I am able to help others see the great love our Heavenly Father has for us. I also help others to see what a wonderful gift we have to rely on God and that we can over come the hardest trials.
