Hi I'm Tara

I'm a mother. I'm a mathematician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to travel. I like the variety of the earth, its places and its people. I like animals and am grateful for God's creations. I like almost any activity that involves water; swimming, skiing, boating, surfing and diving. I enjoy observing the creativity of others for example art, music, architecture and dance.

Why I am a Mormon

I remain active in the church because of my love for God and his Son. Church activity helps me as I try to live the two great commandments: to love God and to love my neighbor. The leaders teach and inspire me to be kind, loving and forgiving. My relationship with God helps me overcome fear and brings me peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to increase my love of mankind. The teachings of the Bible and Book of Mormon help me keep this earthly life in prospective. The scripture say that perfect love will cast out all fear. As I read, study and act on the things I learn, it seems that my ability to face daily fears increase. As fear departs from my heart, my ability to love others increases. I try to be honest and responsible.
