Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a kindergarten teacher, wife, aunt, sister, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a kindergarten teacher. I love to travel all around the world. I love spending time with my husband and friends. I love being a mormon and my life has been blessed beyond measure.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church in Huntsville, Alabama. My family and church leaders did a very good job of showing and teaching me how much Jesus Christ, our Savior loves me. I read the Book of Mormon for myself as a youth and prayed to see if it truly was the right fit for me. No matter what happened in my life or what I did I knew that this gospel was real and that I needed to strive to live the teachings that the scriptures and prophets have counseled me to live. I love how important the family is in the church. I can't imagine dying and never seeing any of my family again. I know that I will see my past loved ones and they will get to see me after this life because of my strong testimony of families being together forever through Heavenly Father's plan.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the youth in Tennessee. I have the opportunity to teach the Sunday school lessons to middle school and high school girls. We plan activities and spiritual opportunities for them to participate in on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings or afternoons. I love working with the youth! I have always loved working with children and that is why I studied and received my degree in Education, but the youth bring so much love and excitement. Also, every Monday my husband and I go over to see our dear friends from church for dinner and scripture devotional or spiritual thought. It is so nice to be around people who really see the importance of living your life like the Savior did and helping all those you come in contact with.
