Hi I'm Shelley

I grew up in Utah, moved to Idaho and back to Utah. It's where I'm supposed to be and I am so glad i'm a Mormon!

About Me

I enjoy gardening, taking pictures and crafts. I am a Wife, Mom, Sister, Daughter, Grandma, Step-Mom, Step-Grandma and Step-Great-Grandma! Family is what it is all about !!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and was very blessed to have been taught the principles of the Gospel while I was young. As I grew, I realized that I needed a testimony of my own and so, really, for the rest of our lives, we need to keep reading, studying, praying and learning all we can of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I am so thankful to know that they are so real and that they both love me for who I am, in spite of myself !!! I know that we lived with them before we came to this Earth and that we will live with them again, after this life. While we are here, we need to do our best to learn all we can, do good to all we can, and teach others what we know. I know that Jesus died on the cross to Atone for my sins. He knows of all of my pain, unhappiness, suffering, happy things, he knows of it all. Through the Atonement, all things, no matter how bad or hard or unfair they may seem have been taken care of by Christ. It is up to me to live so that what He went through for me will be worth it to Him and He will know that I am thankful for His sacrifice for me. I love Him so much and want to be able to live with Him again. He is my elder brother. I know that families can be together forever if we do what we know we need to. That is such a comfort to me. I have lost my Parents, a Husband and a Son and want to live with them again. I know the Church is true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith by following the Commandments, Reading the Scriptures to keep learning more about Heavenly Father and Jesus and what I need to do to return to live with them again. I also attend my Church meetings and try to fulfill my Church callings the best I can.
