Hi I'm Layton Taylor

I'm a 17 year old who lives in a small town in Georgia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Layton. I have almost finished up high school and I am graduating in May. I hope to have a bright future and career in the world. I love music and i have a personal interest in planes. I love my friends and all that they are. They are some of the best people in the universe. I like to go places and hang out with my friends, since it is mostly what I can do. I enjoy being by myself sometimes so I can collect my thoughts and use that time to grow closer to God. It's how i kind of relax.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because i believed and prayed for guidance. I never really supected for myself that I should have ever came to this church. I came because I thought it was what I was meant and supposed to do. Not only for myself but by God's will. I say coming here is all about personal guidance from the Lord, but if I had to convince someone to come for any reason it would be for the great blessings that you recieve from giving just a slight effort. It's all about progressing to the fullness we all seek in our lifes, and this church knows where and how to receive you and make this happen. I continue to follow because I personally have seen the awsomeness of this place and it's outstanding history. From great prophets to long, faithful devotions to the Lord.

How I live my faith

I right now have no big influence on my residential church. I hope and know sometime within the near future that will change though. I personally live my faith by helping my friends and by doing things that I can do to manifest the best possible outcome for myself. I try to sense and follow the Holy Spirit with all my heart and that alone sometimes is how i get through my day and how I reach advancement in my life.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Layton Taylor
Of course! The only reason the church was founded was because of the Bible! When Joseph Smith kneeled down in the wilderness and prayed, he did so according to what he knew from the Bible. This makes total sense according to the question. So yes, we all believe the Bible is a magnificant piece of work in this world and should be read likewise to the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
