Hi I'm Melissa

I was born and raised in the United States, but I swear I'm Mexican. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying to become a Civil Engineer at Brigham Young University in Provo, but I am taking a 18 months off of school to become a missionary for the Lord. I love to draw, sing and play the ukulele. I hate it, but I really enjoy watching T.V. I also love to watch and play soccer, baseball and volleyball...oh and football too.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because when my life has taken difficult turns, the Lord always helped me to handle the situation both emotionally and spiritually. Being Mormon has helped me develop a relationship with God that the modern world deems impossible. We are God's children and He loves us. He has never and will never abandon us. This world tells us that He has, and that's what closes our minds to spiritual progress.

How I live my faith

Often, people make living religion sound like a difficult and complex thing. I believe that more often that not, it's the simple things that we do that help us become more Christ like. We should be kind and forgiving as well as obedient to God's commandments.
