Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the small farming community in Idaho. Even though my family does not own one cow and only a dog, we still know how to have fun. Whether boating on the lake, barbecues in the backyard, or singing around the piano, my childhood was quite a ride. Though, not a farmer, my family taught me how to work hard in anything that was set before me. I took that challenge in school studies, sports, outdoor chores or relationships. Now I'm 20 years old, living on my own and attending dental hygiene school. Even though I'm far from home, I still strive to give everything my best effort.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been committed to this gospel my entire life. Living in a sheltered community may have influenced that commitment. But for the past 2 years, living away from family and home has made me make important decisions and decide for myself what this gospel means to me. I have only held on even tighter to the gospel these past 2 years. It brings me peace and true happiness knowing that my Father in Heaven has a plan for me. My sins may be forgiven and I can become a better me through my Savior.

How I live my faith

Growing up with a musical background, each week I am able to play the sacrament hymns in church on the piano. I strive to make decisions that will keep me healthy both mentally, spiritually and physically. I do this by having faith in Jesus Christ and then putting action to my faith. When challenging times come, I know that I can overcome them, as do I know that I can do so with anything that is before me. But only with the Lord's hands.
