Hi I'm Hayley

I grew up in Maryland and am the youngest of five children. I teach second graders and love my time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an elementary school teacher. I love teaching! I am 25, single and loving life. I love to work and keep myself busy. I have three brothers and a sister, all of which are married and have amazing kids. Spending time with family is one of my favorite things. We all enjoy joking around with each other and reminiscing from our childhood. Families are a great blessing!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy. Before Joseph Smith translated The Book of Mormon and was given the keys of the priesthood, only parts of the gospel were on this earth. I have read the Book of Mormon and I have prayed to know of it's truthfulness. I know that it was written by prophets of old and that Jesus Christ came to the America's to teach the people. I know that He atoned for our sins, pains, ailments and weaknesses. He has risen from the grave and lives today. If we repent, come unto him through baptism, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and endure to the end by living his commandents, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that we have a prophet here on earth today who receives modern day revelation from Heavenly Father. I know and am SO grateful that families can be together FOREVER through temple ordinances. I love being a Mormon. I love trying to live my life in accordance to the commandments of God and feeling happy and peaceful about life when I do. I love having purpose to life and having an understanding of why I'm here, where I came from and where I am going. I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. Partaking of the sacrament to renew the covenants I made a baptism; to always remember my Savior, keep His commandments that I may have His spirit to be with me. I pray daily and study the scriptures. I try to serve others by visiting those who are in need of help and friendship. None of us are perfect so I have to repent daily. The thing I like about being Mormon is that I don't JUST attend church on Sunday and call it good. Every moment of my life, I try to remember my Savior and keep a portion of His spirit with me at all times. I try to act like a daughter of God and keep his commandments. Living his gospel is a way of life not just a place you go on Sunday's for friendships. I love living the gospel and receiving blessings for doing so.
