Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a sound recording engineer student and saxophonist. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student in the Sound Recording Technology program with one of the best jobs in the world. I get to mix music for different bands, shows, and presentations. Basically, I get to play with speakers and microphones all day. I also play the saxophone with one of my school's jazz bands. The Lord has blessed me so much by providing me these opportunities.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I grew up in the church, so I've really been a member for my entire life. The reason I continue to follow Christ and be a member of His church isn't because I've been raised that way. It's because I have gained a testimony independent of my parents. I trusted them, but I wanted to know for myself. I read the Book of Mormon and started praying more intently than I had before; this time asking God whether or not this was really his church and if what I was reading was true. Nothing big happened. However, the more I read and prayed, the more I felt in my heart that this was true. The farther I go in life, the more I believe this. God has blessed me so much! Without Him, there would be no way I would have gotten the amazing job I have now, not to mention I wouldn't be studying the major of my dreams. I know God exists and that He loves me, and that the Church of Jesus Christ is true.

How I live my faith

One of the ways I live my faith is by serving in the church and supporting others in their service.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Mormon temples are used for a couple of purposes, one of which is to get married. We believe that we can receive sacred ordinances that bind husband and wife together for eternity. I can't imagine anything better than being with the man I love and my family forever. What an amazing blessing to know that the people we love the most will always be with us. Show more Show less
