Hi I'm Jessie

I'm a Mormon. I am about to serve the Lord as a missionary in Guayaquil, Ecuador and I couldn't be more excited!

About Me

I graduated from Canyon View High school in 2015! I'm headed to the Guayaquil, Ecuador South mission and I'm BEYOND stoked!!! I love all things water, swimming, paddle-boarding, drinking. If there is water anywhere near me I will find it and proceed to play in it, no matter what I might be wearing or the sign that says "No Swimming." I also love crime. NOT committing the crime, but SOLVING it. I want to be a CSI when I get older. I watch a lot of Criminal minds so I consider myself a profiler in training. (Just kidding!) haha! The one thing I love more than any of things mentioned above however, is my Savior. He is my King, Redeemer, Savior, Light, Love, Hope, Brother, and best friend. He has helped me through situations I would never have been able to get through myself. He gave His life for me, the least I can do for Him is be the best example I can be and bring others to the LOVE of Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and hold a strong testimony that this gospel is true and wouldn't leave for anything.

How I live my faith

I attend Church every Sunday. It's always refreshing to end a week filled with work, school, friends, parties, bills, chores and any other life obligations and be able to be still, and feel peace. Every morning I get up and read my scriptures. I ALWAYS say my prayers! I don't think I could even start the day with out first talking to my Heavenly Father. I attend a Singles ward and Love It!!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Jessie
To me, a testimony is knowledge that you gain and feel that it is true. You can't deny the truthfulness of that thing no matter what. You can't deny it, because you have witnessed at some point in your life the blessings that came. For example; I KNOW God lives. How do I know He lives? He has answered my prayers. No, He doesn't answer all the way we would like them to be answered, but He answers them. He has done it for me and I could never deny the blessing I have recieved from Him. That is a testimony.
