Hi I'm Sam

I'm from Mississippi, I love the South, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to build model cars. I use that as a way to relax. I did Martial Arts for 11 years in a few different styles and I also earned my Eagle rank in the scouting program. My project was building wood duck houses, which is more difficult than you might think.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converted to the Church before I was born. By the time I came along my family was living in Texas where I was born. I grew up in the Church just sort of going through the motions for a while. I decided one day when I was 12 that I wanted to know if everything I'd heard was true or not. So I decided to test it. I wanted to live what I'd been taught fully and see if I could find a difference. That same week, there was a Temple trip for the Youth. On entering I felt the most amazing feeling. I just felt awed and speechless. I didn't want to speak because I was afraid to disturb the peaceful feeling of the Temple. That day I received my answer. The Gospel is everything to me. I love this Church and the values it teaches. I love the people and the examples they are and the friendship they give. What I love most though, is the truthfulness of this Church. It is the restored Church of Jesus Christ. I know that.

How I live my faith

I love to help out in the community! As Ham Radio operators my Mom and I have volunteered to help out with communication at marathons, parades, and helping with the local Search and Rescue. I love to help others and give my time and service to anyone and everyone!
