I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am on an adventure to create my path in life. I am a baker. a seeker. a traveler. a friend.

Why I am a Mormon

At 8 years old I was baptized into the Mormon church. Since then the journey has been far from easy. Although I was baptized at the age of 8 that is not when my conversion happened. It came in the years between then and now. As we go through life there are trials and tribulations that befall us. Illness, betrayal, temptations, loss of loved ones, and natural disaster are only a few. I had the privileged to begin learning basic principles that helped me through many of these things. I learned that not one hardship we face is beyond our limits, because we have access to help from the Lord. We can do all things through Jesus Christ, who if we let him is our strength and our light in even the darkest of places. Without our trials and tribulations we could not know the very worst to be able to recognize and appreciate the very best. I choose to be a Mormon because through this principle and more I have begun an eternal friendship with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. A friendship that continually allows me to grow and has taught me the way home, to my father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Faith in our beliefs is a part of every day life. It is in the way that we compose ourselves, teach our children, and how we interact with one another. I live my faith one day at a time, trying to be the best that I know how to be. As I strive to put my best self forward everyday it allows me to see my successes and perfect my, well, not such successes. I know that through my continued perseverance and serving others we can become wonderful people. This church has given me the opportunity to serve, teach, and love fellow members. In return I have learned, grown, and become a stronger person than I ever thought possible.
