Hi I'm Tiera

I'm a native San Diegan. I'm a college student. I march to the beat of my own drum-in a good sense. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I consider myself a "busy body." I like to keep busy. Whether it's with school, work, church, family, and friends; I always find myself doing something. I served a mission as a representative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan. I'm a college student studying business.

Why I am a Mormon

My life has truly been blessed, hands down. I come from a home of wonderful, faithful, and obedient parents that taught me and implemented the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the day from the beginning. I'm grateful to them and for the example they lead in their lives, living and serving as disciples of Christ. Growing up in San Diego, it's not uncommon to be the minority, ethnically speaking. However, being a Mormon was something that definitely made me different than most of my peers. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I had to grow up in a place where there is so much diversity in all aspects of life, culturally, politically, religiously and etc. I felt by growing up and seeing so many people live different life-styles, only made my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ stronger. I've found and continue to find happiness in this church and it's teachings. I've never felt the need to rebel against the way or religion my parents brought me up in because I've felt Spirit testify to me the truthfulness of this gospel. Once you've felt that warm and comforting feeling of the Spirit, there's no denying it. Although, I don't have some epic conversion story or dramatic experience about how the church found me and changed my life drastically. I knew the gospel from the beginning, I know it now, and I know that I am the daughter of a Heavenly Father that loves me and has mapped out this beautiful plan for me, so that I can have eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be active in the gospel and not just church. Reminding myself everyday, how blessed I really am and recognizing all the good Heavenly Father has brought into my life because of my faith and obedience to the teachings of the gospel.
