Why I am a Mormon

My mother taught me about the bible and about Jesus Christ, and how to pray. When I was young, I went to church with my best friend, he happened to be a latter Day Saint boy. when I was about twelve years old I was reading the Joseph Smith Story in the Book of Mormon. I was impressed with the feeling I had, and as I continued to read the book of Mormon and to pray about the truthfulness of it, I somehow knew that it was true, and as I learned more about Jesus Christ, the more I knew He was my savio,r and that He lives and cares for me. In my adult life I have come to feel His loving kindness, and unconditional love for all of his children. I am thankful for His Grace and the direction of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by being greatful every day for the great blessings I recieve from God. He continues to bless me with so much bounty in every way. I am blessed to serve the youth in the Boy Scout program. These young (11 year old boys) men are so impressionable and mallable, I want them to be given a direction in life, like I was, and to get a vision of success in their lives. I want them to be happy and to make a difference in their choices.
