Hi I'm Sally Capener

I have 4 children, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister. I love to exercise. I love to eat too. I love boating with my family and water skiing, time spent with my husband and my children in the woods four wheeling, hiking, relaxing. My extended family are very much a part of my life and I enjoy time spent with them also. I put my husband through years and year of professional schooling, supporting and making ends meet to obtain a lofty goal. Now I support him in his practice and he has provided for us very well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raise by goodly parents that taught me of the child from birth, we come form a linage of several generations of Mormons that fought their way across the plains and against steep opposition. There was strong convictions that were taught to me, as they say in the Book of Mormon about the stripling Warriors I did not question because my Mother knew. ( My Father and Grandparents Knew too). I had their faith to lean on. As I grew into adulthood and that faith and strength became my own, because the Lord knows me and gave me trial that were for me to grow. The blessings of trials are to gain the knowledge that the Lord is there. You but need to believe and trust in him. The comfort that the scripture in Palms 46:10, brings to me on a daily basis; "Be still and know that I am God." Blessings of being a member of his church are not only for me but for my children and the generations to come. It brings comfort to me to know that my children can have this comfort and that will help them in the directions that they go in life. As a Mother it is very important to me to know that they are well taken care of. "Be Strong and of good courage; do not be afraid; nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." -Joshua 1:9

How I live my faith

I am currently the youth leader for the 16 to 18 year old young women in our ward (congregation). I love getting to know the young women and spend time with them in service, teaching skills, giving direction, and guidance, having fun, camp outs, We meet each Sunday and have a formal class and also each week we have an evening that is set aside to do activities. I also attend the 15-16 year old Sunday school class that my Husband teaches and that is great to be there to enjoy the youths enthusiasm and love of life. I also visit a few ladies in the ward on a monthly basis to see if there are in need of any thing and to bring a gospel message to them great friendships are made.
