Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a software development contractor and an avid lover of games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a middle child and have 4 siblings. I am an uncle to 8 cute nieces and nephews. I really enjoy playing all sorts of different games, including video games, card games, and board games. Some of my favorite card games include Magic, Killer Bunnies, and Dominion. I also enjoy reading. Some of my favorite books are fantasy books. I also experience same gender attraction.

Why I am a Mormon

The story of my conversion is a lifelong one and continues to unfold each and every day. My parents are both active members of the church, so I was baptized into the church when I was eight years old. Since then, I've slowly start to feel for myself that the church was true. I've had a number of experiences and moments over the years that have helped me feel and know about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and of the Church. I continue to follow the gospel and the church because I feel deep down that they are true.

How I live my faith

I try each day to know and understand God's will for my life. I do what I can to communicate with Him through prayer and reading His word in the scriptures. I also try to love other people and myself as God would love them. Even though I experience same gender attraction, I strive to relate to other people within the bounds that the Lord has set for me. I attend my church meetings every week. I do my best to reach out to the people that I am assigned to home teach so that they feel welcome in the ward. I also help coordinate part of the church meeting each week.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No, active members of the LDS church do not practice polygamy. Currently, we are commanded to only have one spouse of the opposite gender. Show more Show less
