Hi I'm Lexi

I am a college student ,Love fashion and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Alex, but people call me Lexi. I come from a family of 12 brothers and sisters and I love it. I enjoy sport activities, I enjoy volleyball, basketball, softball and track. I am currently going to college to become a Physicians Assistant (P.A). I love fashion and everything about it, I eventually want to open up my own clothings store. My lucky number is 15 and I am proud of who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. I am a Mormon because I know without the gospel in my life I would not be who I am today. My senior year in High School I hurt my ankle during volleyball season and my dream of playing college sports was gone in a blink of an eye. I did not think having a torn achilleas would effect me, but it did. In volleyball I could not jump as high, basketball my ankle was always giving out, and in track I was four seconds slower. I was so broken and I blamed the Lord. So i quit going to seminary and I quit trying. I stop reading my scripures and saying my prayers. Than one hot afternoon my seminary teacher asked me to come back and that he would enjoy to have me in his class. So i did, and I did not miss a day after that. I realized how much I needed the gospel in my life. I realized that the burden and hurt I was caring on my shoulders would have not gone away, but with the lord as my strength it would have made it lighter. I am not perfect and life is not perfect, but I know with the lord as my strength I can conquer anything and without him I am nothing. I choose to follow his gospel because he has always stood for me, in times of need he never left me, when I was hopeless and felt like giving up he was there carring me. I choose to stand for him, I choose to follow him and continue to grow. There will come a time in all of our lives, where we will either have to stand or walk away. No one can say what they will do during that precise moment, but I hope that when I face that moment I will stand.

How I live my faith

The gospel is the most important thing in my life, without it I would be nothing. I love helping people, every now and than i will make cookies or any treats for my neighbors and let them know that I care about them, and will always be there if they need anything. Serving others brings my life more meaning and love. I never thought that when your serving other people it would bring a person so much joy. I never thought how a simple smile could change someone's whole day. I realized that it is all those simple things that a person does that stand out more than the big things.
