Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a computer nerd. I have a love for Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the eldest of 4 children, with three great brothers and two loving parents. I love reading, playing basketball, and learning. I always enjoy technology, whether I'm playing a game on a phone or programming an application. I love the peace that living Christ's gospel brings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints because it is the real deal. When Joseph Smith, the founder of our church, went into the forest and prayed to know which church was true, he received a vision. God and Jesus Christ (who are two separate beings) showed themselves to him and told him that none of the churches was true. Through visions from the Lord, Joseph Smith was told where to find the Book of Mormon. He also learned principles that were lost through the centuries as people edited and edited the Bible and censored eternal truths. This is the true gospel, and was truly inspired by God and Jesus Christ. But what, you may ask, is the difference between our church and other Christian churches? One major difference in beliefs is that we believe in divine revelation; in other words, information from God. Some churches believe that we have all the truth from God that we need already. But did God love the people in the time of Moses more than us? Did he think that His people then deserved revelation through God, and we did not? We still need guidance and direction. Well, it has been given to us. God informs our prophet on the earth today what the church needs. God has, on several instances, led me to making an important decision through inspiration through the Holy Spirit's feeling of peace or foreboding. I know that you and anyone else can also receive a message from God. An important piece of revelation you can receive is a testimony of the Book of Mormon. If anyone reads the Book of Mormon and sincerely asks if this Church is true, then I know that you will receive a testimony of its truthfulness. If you give Mormonism a try, you will gain a testimony of Christ. You will know that there is a true prophet on the earth today. You will learn of the wonderful Plan of Salvation in which we can become like Christ. You will feel the peace and happiness that comes when you know of the bright future that is available for you by the Grace of God.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by trying to be an example of a disciple of Christ. I hope to display charity to all and to help all feel God's love. I am privileged to enjoy the peace and serenity that comes from emulating Christ, following the commandments, and knowing that eternal life with the people you love is possible through temple sealings and authority from the Priesthood of God.
