Hi I'm Sandra Mücke

I adore the Patriots. I was an Au Pair in Boston. I'm a full-time missionary in California. I was a Harvard Student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating from my generals I decided to perform an exchange year as an Au Pair (Nanny) with a family living in Boston. I came on August 1st 2011 and have lived there for a year. I enjoy traveling, going places and just experiencing the diversity and cultures the world has to offer. I'm very outdoorsy and love skiing, horse back riding, hiking, road trips,.... I love my friends and family and spending time with them, but I also love the freedom to live where life takes me. I value family and friends greatly and spend a huge amount of time with both, but I also know that no matter where I live I can be close to them. Right now I am having a blast as a full-time missionary in the California Redlands Mission and I am loving every second of it!

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in the church I wasn't always a "Mormon". I had periods in my life where I distanced myself from my religion. I lived life the way I thought I wanted to live it, being free to do what I think I wanted to. I experienced how life would be without my religion and found myself unhappier than ever before. That's the moment when I became a Mormon. I chose for myself that I'm a better, happier, more balanced and peaceful person if I include God into my life. I have a huge testimony that God loves every single soul on this earth and grants every single soul it's individual way of growing and learning. I know that he understands me better than I understand myself and that he guides me through this life whenever I let him be a part of it. This knowledge keeps me grounded, no matter how crazy my life gets. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God because I get to experience the proof of it every day. I know God, in his unconditional love, called another prophet to open up the gates for his blessings by revealing his power, the priesthood, to the earth once more. Gods loves me and I am his precious child, an so are you!

How I live my faith

I was first counselor in an organization in my singles ward that was established to help and support all women ages 18 and up. I love being able to interact with them and consider every one of them a good friend of mine. I am a visiting teacher, which means that I take a special interest in the well being of some women and try to help, assist, support and love them as much as possible. I don't see this as a calling or a duty but as a huge opportunity and something I enjoy doing. I was a teacher for the 4 to 8 year old kids in my ward back in Germany for 4 years. I loved being able to get to know and get to appreciate those precious little souls and was glad to be able to learn more about their pure, righteous spirits. They are a huge example to me in unconditional love and their ability to trust and belief. I am currently organizing events for the women in my singles ward, such as trips, movie nights, activities, .... I also work as a second counselor with young women ages 12 to 18 by preparing classes, giving them advice and organize activities for them. On February 3rd I was set apart as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As such I am devoting 18 months of my life to serve the Lord as his representative in Redlands, California. I am finding great joy in living my faith 24/7 and serving him.
