Hi I'm Allison

I'm a cosmetologist, an art/travel lover, and an aunt to 19 nieces and nephews. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of 8 children, hence the plethora of nieces and nephews. I grew up in Washington where I graduated from cosmetology school, then moved to Idaho where I finished my bachelor's degree, majoring in Art History. My most loved hobbies are making books, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings happiness and direction to my life. It gives me the motivation to keep going when times are difficult and gives me joy when I'm following my Heavenly Father's plan for me. It provides me with answers for where I've come from, why I am on this earth, and where I am going. There have been no happier times in my life as when I am living the gospel of Jesus Christ, following his example, and doing the things I should do, so that I can return to live with Him for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do the small and simple things everyday: praying, reading the Bible and Book of Mormon, and striving to be honest, loving, and forgiving. I participate in my ward by attending group activities, doing my duties in my church calling, and serving in the temple. I live my faith by keeping close relationships with my family, talking to them often, and letting them know that I love them. I read the words of the Prophet and his apostle's so that I might know more fully what my Lord would have me know.
