Hi I'm Steven Wong.

I grew up in Hong Kong.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a son, I love playing soccer, even though I am not very good at it. I am an optimistic person, love to talk with people and meeting new friends.

Why I am a Mormon

When it comes to "Why I am a Mormon?", Simply of course for the restored gospel is TRUE ! I joined the church when I was 14 years old, my family did not believe nor knew much about Jesus Christ. Before I joined the church, I had so many questions about religion, such as: does God live? If he lives, how could I know more about him? What is the purpose of this life? Where will I go after this life? etc. I am so grateful for the missionaries who found me on the street, I learnt so much from them. They began with introducing the prophet Joesph Smith and his humble prayer in 1820. Then they kindly invited me to follow the same course as Joesph did, to ask God. They promised me ask and I will receive. I remember one night I laid on my bed, listening to "A Child's prayer" from the children songbook, pondering the message that the missionaries brought me. My heart was full and my soul was enlightened as I listened to the lyrics "Pray, he is there. Speak he is listening. You are his child. His love now surrounds you. He hears your prayer. He loves the children. Of such is the kingdom, the kingdom of heaven." The spirit was so strong, it testified to me that our father in heaven listened and answered every child's prayer. I know that God lives, we are literally his children on earth. After the gospel was lost for so many centuries, he has already chosen a prophet named Joesph Smith to restore his true church and his holy priesthood. I have a strong testimony about this.

How I live my faith

I am a member in the Tin Shui Wai ward of New Territories in Hong Kong. I have been an assistant ward clerk, young men's counselor, Sunday school president, temple worker in the China Hong Kong Temple, a full time missionary in the China Hong Kong Mission. I am currently studying at the Brigham Young University-Hawaii.
