Hi I'm Sarah. I am a Mormon

I jumped horses, unschooled, worked as an electrical apprentice, got married, had 4 children....to be continued.

About Me

I have my hands full - as I hear on a regular basis but I would not have it any other way. Hands full of love are a wondrous thing to have. Three lovely boys and a beautiful baby girl. I am a stay at home Wife, Mom, Mother, Mom Lady, Boss. I homeschool all my children and was homeschooled myself so I really have no idea what they are missing or getting saved from. We have lots of fun, we learn all the time-the wide world is a great place for that. We get to enjoy lots of outdoor time, lots of hockey, swimming, parks and bike riding. I enjoy learning about nutrition, whole foods, organic foods and farm raised meats. I had all four of my children at home with a midwife, I breast-feed and co-sleep with my babies. I have an Amazing Husband who is the Universal Man. He loves me and our children and gives his all to us each and every day. He used to be a professional computer gamer so I also have the insight and medal of saintly sanity and patience gained from being married to a gamer for five long years. Before getting married and having four children I rode, trained and showed horses Hunter/Jumpers, and Equitation. I was a working student and braider. I worked as an Electrical Apprentice under-tutelage from my Dad. I spent two years getting to know on a very close and personal level all the dark, spidery, moldy, ratty crawl spaces on the small Island I grew up on. I learned how to find a fish-tape in a haystack and how to wire a house.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my Mom joined the Church when I was Six years old. I remember the first time she went to church I was drawn to go but felt comfortable staying home. I changed my mind about ten times, oh the great patience of my Mother. I ended up going to church with her and feeling happy and comfortable there too and thinking how silly it was of me to feel shy about going to church. I remember when the missionaries would come to our house to teach my Mother the discussions. I would walk back and forth from the hallway past the table where they were sitting and into the kitchen. I found I had to smile when I was in the room with them, I just did. I would smiled a big goofy toothy six year old grin whenever I walked by the table and I was determined not to, to walk by with a straight face but it was impossibe and I never did succeed. Even though I would stand in the hallway or the kitchen and scrunch my face into the strongest six year old scowl I could. I would always, without fail, grin from ear to ear when I walked past the table. I know now it was the presence of the Holy Ghost and the Peace and Happiness that the Joyous message of the True Gospel of Jesus Christ brings to my heart. I am a Mormon because I learned about and gained my own Testimony of The Book Of Mormon, the Prophets, God our Eternal Father, Jesus Christ our elder brother and the Holy Ghost-which still makes me smile.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by Trying a Little Harder to be a Little Better. I live my Faith by being an Example to my Family. I live my Faith by being Kind to others. I live my Faith by doing my best to bring Peace into this beautiful crazy world. I live my Faith by Trusting God, by praying and working to increase my Faith. I live my Faith by Following the Prophet. I live my Faith by Loving all of Gods Children, for we are all Children of God. I live my Faith by Sharing my Testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ is True and it brings Joy and Happiness to my life.
