Hi I'm Kristy

I'm a mother of 4. I love playing soccer, I'm a business owner, I'm a taxi and some say my life is crazy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the church; I married a convert which is my best friend from high school. I have 2 girls and 2 boys. I run a home business making signs and shirts. I also work part time at my children's school. I am serving as 2nd counselor in Relief Society. I enjoy good company and hosting parties. I'm an active and dedicated taxi mom that enjoys that time taking my four kids to and from their four different sports and activities. I enjoy playing Co-Ed Soccer and softball. I enjoy the beach, White Mountains, skiing, zip-lining and just spending time with my family. At times our lives get a little hectic.

Why I am a Mormon

Many times I have asked myself, "What would I do without the church... Where would I be if I did not have the church?" Although live is crazy due to our worldly activities, we must step back and take a look at where it will lead us and where we want to be. This past year has been a challenge for me. I have realized that my life was crazy and that the things that I thought was important really did not matter to anyone other than me. My family was being pushed aside, my spirit weakening, and I was not happy with who I was. The Holy Spirit prompted me to read the scriptures, to pray and to organize my life so that I could grow spiritually and my prayers would be answered. The Church of Jesus Christ has provided that for me. There is life after death, we can all be forgiven of our sins, we are guided on a daily bases with a Heavenly Father who loves us and knows each one of us on a personal level. When times are rough I know that I can turn to the Lord and speak with him. Prayers are answered. Families are forever and Marriage is eternal. My testimony of the church continues to grow on a daily bases, It gives me a sense of peace. Would I have this since of peace if it were not for the gospel and teachings of eternal families?

How I live my faith

Just as any Christian I devote my life to our Savior and family. It is here on this earth that we are to prove to him our wiliness to return back to him and live with him one day. No one is perfect, that is he has given us the atonement. I strive daily to read and study my scriptures. I strive to be an example to my children, my husband, my extended family and friends. We are faced daily with trials and tribulations that we must conquer. It is important for my children to know that they are children of a loving Heavenly father. That they are choice spirits of these days and they must rely on the power of prayer. He hears us, he answers our prayers and he guides us in our daily trials. I serve as a counselor in our women’s presidency of our church. I say to myself on a daily bases, "Lord be with me, let thy spirit guide me today to make the right choices." Just by these few words it helps keep me on the right path. Family is very important to me. The time we have together here on earth are memories that we will be able to take with us. We pray as a family, we support each other as a family, we teach each other the importance of being a family. We enjoy being an eternal family.
