Hi I'm Nora

I was born in Arizona, then moved to South Carolina. I'm in 11th grade, and I volunteer with the disabled(: I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in High School and I'm taking lots of AP Science classes. I'm not totally sure what I want to do with my life yet, but I'm leaning towards Med school after college. I'm an avid reader and am currently IN LOVE with The Hunger Games. I've played Women's Lacrosse with my school for two years, and have swam for different High School and club teams for 4 or 5 years. I love to cook, and to eat! I volunteer with Charleston Miracle League (helping disabled children and adults to play baseball) and with the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital (doing whatever needs doing). I would consider myself a fairly fun person. I laugh A LOT and I'm crazy ticklish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church; both of my parents have been active members for my entire life. My dad was a convert, and the strength of his testimony has always had a great impact on me. I haven't always known that the church was true. As a small child, you tend to accept most everything that your parents tell you, and that's how it was with me. But as I've gotten older, I've started having doubts, and asking my own questions. I am a very logical person, so I didn't understand how I was supposed to accept abstract and unproven facts.

How I live my faith

I participate in and even help plan activities with my fellow youth, attend church summer camps and even go to a Seminary class before school in the morning! Crazy right?! haha.
