Hi I'm Jenn Muncy

I sing opera, play piano, and bake beautiful cakes. I have three precious children and a loving husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married seven years to my husband Brandon and we have a five year old daughter, Piper, and a two year old son, Dylan. Our second little girl, Sadie, was stillborn on July 8, 2008. I am studying psychology at Kaplan University. I'm not sure which career I'm headed towards, but I will figure that out in no time. I love to bake and decorate cakes, but I am in love with music. I love to sing opera and play the piano. My current calling in church is to play piano for the Primary children in my ward.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints four years ago. I grew up without any religion. My family is largely Catholic, but few practice the religion. When we were expecting our second daughter, I wanted to figure out what I believed. I believed in God and our Savior Jesus, but I wasn't sure which church was right for me and my family. My sweet friend who had just finished her mission, sat down with me and spent hours telling me about the gospel and what being a Mormon is about. I read a few pages of the Book of Mormon and I knew it was true scripture. I prayed to God to enlighten me and help me understand the right path to choose. Very soon I knew in my heart that the church is true. I was baptized the day after our first daughter's second birthday. A few months later our second daughter was stillborn. I prayed for peace and the strength to make it through labor and her delivery. I received a priesthood blessing by a dear friend and knew I would be okay. I am so grateful to know the fullness of the gospel, to be a part of Christ's church in these last days of the earth. I feel a happiness and joy I never thought existed, and I know where I'm headed in the future. I will be sealed to my family for all eternity, and will live with my Heavenly Father and brother Jesus again.

How I live my faith

I play piano for our ward's Primary. It is such a blessing to make music to accompany those sweet voices every Sunday. The children bring me great joy. I enjoy helping at church, whether it is to bake a cake to cheer someone up, or accompany the congregation with piano music whenever they need someone to fill in. I recently played piano at a young man's baptism. It was a beautiful experience to be a part of. I love to teach my children gospel principles and am overjoyed when they teach me with their sweet innocent example.
