Hi I'm Tai!

I am Chinese, I love sports, and I love food. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in mainland China, but spent almost half of my life in the United States. I studied biochemistry at Brigham Young University Hawaii for a year. I love my goodly parents and my crazy little sister, and I love food. I can't name any specific favorite food but just food in general.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a non religious community, but I was blessed to be introduced to the church by my parents. I grew up not knowing my parents too well because my grandparents had raised me after my parents had decided to immigrate to the US when I was young. After many years of separation from my parents physically and emotionally, the Lord brought me to the US to rejoin them. On the day of my arrival in the airport, as I saw the faces of my dear parents, I felt an immediate love and a sense of security. Later on in my life I was able to gain a testimony for my self that the feeling was from the Spirit, and that feeling not only will last temporarily but beyond the timetable that we can possibly imaging. The feeling of the Spirit, that feeling of peace and happiness started to grow stronger as I went to church, met with the missionaries and was eventually baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I found out that God is my Father, my Father in Heaven that I cannot see physically but I feel deeply in my heart that he is there listening to every prayer I offer, and fully understands all the situations that I'm going through and that my Savior Jesus Christ is there every step of the way to help me. I gained a knowledge of my purpose on earth, and I know that I can be with my family forever even beyond death. I love this Gospel and how much happiness it brings to me and my family.

How I live my faith

Prayer, scripture study, and going to church play an important role in my life. I am currently serving a full time mission in the California Oakland/San Francisco mission, and I love it.
