Hi I'm Jeremy Gardner

I'm 22 years old. I grew up in Arizona. I love to play piano and basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 22 year old college student. I am studying Exercise Science and am preparing to apply for Optometry School. I love to play all types of sports, especially basketball and racquetball! I am the oldest of 3 children (all boys), I am an eagle scout and served a mission for my church in Uruguay for 2 years (2010-2012). I speak English and Spanish. I love to read, serve others, and play music. I play piano, clarinet, and I love to sing. I enjoy longboarding, bike riding, hiking, and camping. I love to smile and be a good friend to those in need.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents brought me up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I can truly say that I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I have received an answer from God that this is the same church that Christ formed in his mortal life, that has been brought back to the earth once more by divine power and authority. Read the Book of Mormon and pray to know that it is true and you can also know for yourself that this is Christ's Church restored to the Earth once more!

How I live my faith

By being the best person I can be, looking for opportunities to provide service to others and living life with a positive attitude. I try to be like Christ and do what He would do if he were in my place. I visit those in need and try to lift those around me who are discouraged. I served a 2 year mission in Uruguay helping all that would accept Christ to come unto him and proividing service to those in need. I think the best way is just to try to be like Christ and lift others as He would do it, or in other words, be a true disciple and representative of Christ in all times, all things, and all places.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Jeremy Gardner
Of course we believe the Holy Bible to be true, that's why we study it both personally and in our church meetings. The Holy Bible is a testament of Jesus Christ and gives vital and very important information on the life, ministry and miracle that Christ performed as well as the most important sacrifice of all that He made for all men, His atoning sacrifice in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the Cross of Calvary. I know htat the Bible is the word of God and that it is essential for our salvation, as well as the Book of Mormon gives us another important and vital testament of our Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone who honestly and sincerely reads both the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon, will see that they support each other in testifying of the divinity and saving power of Christ and His ultilmate sacrifce and our need to follow Christ in order to be saved.
