Hi I'm Erzsebeth

I'm a Mormon.I grew up in Holland and miss speaking my language since there are no Dutch native members here where I reside.

About Me

I am a Dutch Imigrant of 24 years here in the promised land. I am the only active member in my family of 6 I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 4.I love my life but being single ha its disadvantages as well although I am pretty independent, no kidding I am full blooded Dutch go figure. I miss speaking my language since no Dutch members live in my Stake at the moment. I'd like to return to school but sercomstances sem to prevent it for now. I speak Dutch, English and some Spanish and am learning more Spanish to ad to my sons cultural background. I enjoy the outdoors and am a true Dutch farm gal and miss that lifestile. I enjoy animals that cna produce and help sustainability and growing natural organic foods when possible. Right now that happens at other friends or members homes who have garden space untill I get my own place to dig in the dirt again or ride my BIG GREEN TRACTOR ha ha . Life is so much better when you have nature around to watch and utilize to ones benefit for health. Although recovering from Knee surgery at this time 2012, I am looking forward to the day I can roller blade again and kick the soccer ball for my son. I enjoy BBQ's at hom, family is the thread that makes me whole and who I am. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get but what ever you do get ,..be thankful even on those cloudy days so you can remember when it is sunny, how blessed you realy are.

Why I am a Mormon

Although basicaly raised with the Church Christian LDS religion when growing up, I came from a partial member family with many challenges. I did the usual teenage inactive period and as an adult of 22 returned to be active in church and have been so more then less. The church is and will always be what keeps me going, alive and inspired to do better with my own life while guiding and directing those who cross my path to do like wise. Life is difficult at best and being close to a loving Heavenly Father has made my life simpler but not without struggles. Being a Mormon is being a true CHRISTIAN knowing who I am and how beloved I am by a Father in Heaven and the Savior who longs for my return back home with Him some day! Serving one another and being able to receive service when needed and sharing life with fellow sisters and members young and old is and has been a great blessing in my life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ as I have come to understand it through reading the scriputres both Bible and Book of Mormon have made my life a better life and lifestyle. Promoting health in Body and Spirit. My life is bettr because I am an Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have held many callings and yet it never seems to amaze me when asked in a new one how nervous I get. The church helps me to be and become a stronger person with each year that passes by. Going to church regularly and helping where I can has made my life a bliss. I enjoy serving others be it big or small events or needs. I love to go to the Temple and feeling the spirit strongly in my heart. Being a Mormon is being a Christian in the true meening of christianity and serving as the Savior did, although I am as imperfect as the next, I do strive to keep the commandmends and follow as best in the knowledge I so far have obtained to be a good christian and neighbor, friend and serving one another. I live a very simple life based on what are the needs verses the wants out of life and finding joy in many small and simple things. A farm gal realy does not need much if she believes in having integrity and loving my neighbors and those who come my way.
