Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a married man who loves being a daddy! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and I am working hard to support my wife and son as I study to become a Podiatrist. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my eight month old son.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the church because I believe it truly does teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I realize who I am and who we all are as children of a loving Heavenly Father. Knowing I am a child of God is both humbling and empowering as I realize my potential to be better and the great potential that we all have. Through the ordinances such as baptism performed by the authority and power of God found in the church and through improving my life and turning to God I have felt the cleansing and edifying power of what our Savior Jesus Christ did for us when he paid the price for our sins. I feel my saviors love as I try to live the commandments of God and try to be who he would have me be. I am grateful that our Heavenly Father loves us enough to call prophets today. I have felt an assurance that Christ's church was truly restored through the prophet Joseph Smith and I have felt that same assurance that Christ is leading his church today through a living prophet, even Thomas S. Monson. The Church and Gospel of Jesus Christ have helped me to face the challenge of raising my son together with my wife. The world we live in can be filled with temptations that will only lead to sorrow but I know if I do my best to help my son come to know our Savior than he will always be able to find the strength to resist temptation as he turns to Him. All in All I love the gospel and the church. I recognize that we as members of the church aren't perfect but I am grateful to have a place where we can go and do our best to work together to become more like Christ.

How I live my faith

Although I don't claim to be perfect I try my best to live my faith by doing what I believe Jesus would do if he were in my place. I try to be kind and understanding with those around me, and sincere with the way I talk with them. I have had opportunities to serve in different capacities with the church. I have enjoyed the opportunity to teach and spend time with the youth in my area between the ages of 14-16. I was able to learn a lot with them and from them as I did my best to be a leader and an example. I have seen how strong many of the youth are as they strive to live according to their standards in this changing world. The greatest opportunity I have to live my faith is within my own family. I try to work together with my wife to develop a strong relationship with each other and the Lord. Both me and my wife seek the help of our Heavenly Father as we do our best to raise our new little baby boy.
