Hi I'm Andreea Andrews

Daughter, sister, ECU Pirate, and babysitter but most importantly I am a child of God. I love my family, friends, and the Church.

About Me

Currently I am a college student working as a babysitter of triplets. I am a sister to three siblings, the youngest of the three being only four. As you can imagine, I am a busy bee. When I am not babysitting or at school, I am at the Church or doing what I can to help others, like volunteering with Meals on Wheels. I was baptized in the beginning of December 2011 so I have only been a member for a few months but I very much so love the Church and the scriptures and the wonderful, caring people that I have met along the way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I was investigating the Church and going to the meetings with the Missionaries, I had this overwhelming feeling that lead me to believe that this Church is the true Church of Jesus Christ. From the moment that the missionaries knocked on the door, I could tell that it was of true intent. The meetings with the missionaries were so pure, innocent, and heart-felt. I was told to pray that the Church was true but the truth was that I didn't need to. I could tell from the moment that I sat down that it was right and it was where I needed to be. Since my baptism, I have been the happiest that I have ever been. I know for myself that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God and is another testament of Jesus Christ in addition to the Bible and that the prophet, Joseph Smith, translated it. I know that there is a living prophet on this Earth today, and his name is Thomas S. Monson, as well as apostles. I know that if we live by the commandments that we can grow closer to Heavenly Father. I know that we are all children of God and that Heavenly Father loves all of us and wants us to return home to his kingdom. I know that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God. I know that Christ atoned for our sins so that we may live on this earth, make mistakes, realize our transgressions, and repent for them and be forgiven. This is my testimony and I leave it with you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I recently received a calling from my Church leaders as the individual who puts together the Church bulletin for the members. This of course is the unofficial title of my calling, the official one is much longer and sounds much more professional than any words that I can possibly put together. I also spend my Monday nights with members of my branch in Family Home Evening. We spend time together learning more about the gospel and each other by doing fun activities. So not only do we build a stronger relationship with Christ, we also do so with members of the congregation.
