Hi I'm Leigh Andreason

I love to sky dive. I am going to be a great author. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating high school at the top of my class, I went on to a community college and received my Associates of Arts in Secondary Education: Biology. From there I went on to university and am working on my Bachelor's degree. I love being outdoors. Cliff diving, cave exploring, paintballing, horseback riding, mudding... love 'em. And volleyball. I almost think a but part of me would be lacking if I didn't get to play volleyball. I am the oldest of 6 and only have one brother. My mom is one of my best friends. She's taught me how to love life and how to laugh. My dad is my rock; through his example I know how to work hard and how to be responsible. My family is one of the most important things in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so blessed to have been born into the Lord's church since my parents were married and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. My dad grew up as a Mormon and served a full time mission in California. My mom is a convert and joined the temple at the age of 11. When I was just entering the crazy teenage years of thirteen I realized that I needed to know for myself if I really believed that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church on the earth. I prayed many times and ready the Book of Mormon to strengthen my testimony. I paid better attention in church. And after a time I realized that I did know that this is the right chuch, the church that contains all the doctrine of Jesus Christ. I knew because I felt the Holy Ghost testify to me. The best way I can describe what it is like for me to feel the Holy Ghost is to imagine recieving a hug that completely blankets me. It's like I can feel goosebumps but when I look there aren't any. I love it!

How I live my faith

One of the greatest examples in my life is that of my parents. Not only do they teach and tell me and my siblings the things they want us to do, they show up by their choices. I've learned by watching my dad how to work hard. I've learned from my mom how to enoy life and laugh. I try to live my Faith in the same way- by acting how I've been taught and showing my Faith. I cannot go a day without laughing. It is almost physically impossible. Through the Lord's church I know that I am a daughter of God, I know that through the restored knowledge that I will be able to live with him after this life. I know that because Jesus Christ gave him life for me I have the chance to hope and believe I can be made clean. I can be happy and show my love for others by my actions. What greater testimony is there that more than hearing it, you can see it?
