Hi I'm Becca Johnson

I'm a mother of 5 children, I live in Mesa, AZ with my husband and kids. And I LOVE being a Mormon.

About Me

I love to create things with my hands, drawing, painting, sewing, crafting, jewelry etc. I enjoy most spending time with my sweet family. And that means ALL my family, those far and those close. I am trying my best to raise my kids with strong values and keep things simple at home so they have a safe haven to come to. My husband works hard and is going to school, so we are always busy with our kids, school and work. I'm a taxi for sure and am always running the family here and there but we always try to make even the running around fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized at 8 yrs old. I gained a strong love for the gospel when I was very young and it continued to grow as I became a teen. I have continued to have special and sweet experiences through out my life that continue to strengthen my testimony and love for Jesus Christ and his teachings. Having 5 children I am doing my best to teach my kids the importance of Christ in our lives and why we look to his gospel for peace and understanding. Knowing also that my family is an eternal family because we have been sealed together in the temple is such a comfort and blessing in our family, we are closer knowing that this family unit is FOREVER. This is my joy!

How I live my faith

In our ward I am the "bulletin lady" this is what I call myself, I put weekly information on the program for church each week. It is a great calling for me because I don't know how to utilize the computer very well and this is helping me learn programs etc. I'm learning a new skill. I love to do acts of service for others when I can and try hard to listen to promptings from the Holy Ghost to do so. I have in past enjoyed working with the young kids in Primary as well as the youth of the ward. Each calling brings new talents that I didn't know I had before and getting to know new people. It makes for a fun community when you get to serve. I always feel great being a part of a ward family that works together. Another way I live my faith is teaching the gospel in my home and helping my children gain a testimony and understanding of Jesus Christ life and teachings. Telling scripture stories, how to pray, to love and serve others, etc. It's a lot to teach the little ones but we are doing our best.
