Hi I'm Lauren Rhea

I love to make photos of all the small things in life. My family thinks I'm funny. My friends think I'm loud. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm 21. I was born in Northern California, but I have lived in Las Vegas for the past 11 years. I go to school at BYU-Idaho for there wonderful photography program. I love to see the details in everyday things. I love inspiring quotes. I enjoy camping, rock climbing, hiking, playing sports (soccer is my favorite!), going swimming...but I don't get to do them very often. I love to watch movies with my family and go on mini adventures with them. My family is wonderful and I am grateful that I can be with them forever. I love my friends and all the help they have given me. I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know that the church is true. I have had many struggles in my life that have only made my faith grow stronger in the Lord. I love to serve others in any way I can. My favorite places to go are the Temple and the Beach...a tad opposite I know but I'm a true California at heart. I love the beauty that surrounds us. I never complain when it rains because it always feels so wonderful, plus I LOVE THE RAIN. ...sorry that was all over the place but - That's me in a nutshell :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church. My parents joined the church after they were married and after that, my siblings and I grew up in the Church. I was baptized when I was 8 because I felt it was the right thing to do. Ever since that day, I have learned more and more about the gospel and my testimony has grown tremendously and I know now, more than ever that the one decision I made at age 8 has been the greatest decision in my life and the companionship of the Holy Ghost that I now have has accompanied me through every trial and time in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the practice of the Atonement in my life. I allow my Savior to teach me, to guide me, to help me through the pain that comes with trials and make me stronger through him. I try to exemplify Him by being an example to my friends; by walking away when the adversary is near; by changing a song or not going to a rated 'R' movie. I try to uplift people instead of cutting them down. I study my scriptures, but am continually improving my study skills. I do my best in my schoolwork so that I may learn and grow. I readily accept callings and have loved all of the callings I have had at church. I know that I am not perfect but I know that with the help of the Savior and His Atonement that encompasses everything, I may endure to the end in Righteousness and be worthy to live in His presence again one day.
