Hi I'm Shelby

I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I'm a girl's high school basketball coach, I'm a photographer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a busy wife and mother but still find time to enjoy life. I coach girl's basketball at the local high school which is very rewarding. I am also a photographer and love the relationships I gain from photographing others. I love learning and am currently working toward my master's in school counseling. All in all, a busy but rewarding life!

Why I am a Mormon

Life is full of ups and downs. I have experienced my fair share of trials and hardships. I rely on my faith to carry me through these hard times that will inevitably come. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have a knowledge that my Heavenly Father loves me and that I have a Savior, even Jesus Christ, who willing atoned for not only my sins, but my sorrows. My Savior is aware of the hardships I have and will have through this earthly life because He has experienced all of them while in the Garden of Gethsemane. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me, and that my Savior Jesus Christ felt the pains I will have in my life. The knowledge that I can go to my Savior for comfort in times of need is a precious gift that each and every one of us can have in our lives.

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the youth in my ward. I feel very privileged to work with these teen age daughters and sons of God. They are an example to me of great faith and perseverance. I love the youth of the church, and they are a standard for the nations!
