Hi I'm Brynn Arnold

I love learning, laughter, and life. I teach math at a boys residential treatment center. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single young adult who recently graduate college and the world awaits me. I love learning. I studied Math Education. You may be thinking that I must be really smart, well I just know how to work really hard. My parents taught me that hard work pays off. I grew up in a family of four kids where each of us was expected to always work and do our best. I love laughter. I am the most happy when I am with people and learning about them. I love life. Life is a great adventure that is always full of unexpected twists and turns but when you know you are a Child of God with a Father in Heaven that loves you, even the unexpected twists and turns are part of the blessings of Heavenly Father sits fit to give us.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have studied math I have learned about absolute truths. There are formulas that have been proven over and over, that always hold true. These absolute truths don't make sense to a lot of people, you may be one of the many that hates math, but a good teacher and patience can help any one gain an understanding of the formula's in math.I personally was blessed with a brain that understands math a little better than most. I know that math is just one of the many absolute truths Heavenly Father has given us. I have learned for myself, just like in math, that these truths work every time. These truths are the teaching of Christ that are found on the earth in The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saint, or the Mormon Church. I have had many good teachers and lots of patience to learn what Heavenly Fathers eternal truths are and I am continuing to learn more. The greatest teacher is the Spirit. The Spirit or that happy, positive, and peaceful feeling have taught me I am a Child of God. Heavenly Father has prepared a way for us to be happy now and happy in the future. The way is Jesus the Christ. I know that his teaching and truths are absolute. I love learning, laughter and life because I know who I am, where I came from and where I am going. I know that even if i make mistakes, like I often do in math, My Savior is the Teacher who can show me the right way to live and the right "formula" to be happy.

How I live my faith

I know that all people are children of God. I teach math, the subject no one wants to learn, at a boys residential treatment center, they really don't want to learn math. I believe that when we learn to learn people are better enabled to learn truth for themselves. Most of my students are ones that all their other teachers gave up on them. Because I know God would not give up on me, I will not give up on my students. I have tried to create a classroom that students feel that they can be successful in math and thus successful in life. I want to teach them to learn to respect themselves. On days that I get frustrated I turn to my Father in Heaven for help and am able to once again put a smile on my face, have patience to teach a hard subject.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Brynn Arnold
I love the Bible and read it often, often means a couple times a week. I feel by reading the Bible I am able to feel the Love of Our Savior Jesus Christ. I know if I feel the love of my Savior it means that the Bible is true, therefor the word of God. Show more Show less
