Hi I'm Tiffanie

I was born in Utah but grew up in Arizona. I research family history and volunteer as an indexer for Familysearch. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three teenage boys and one daughter. I have gone through a couple of divorces that were very painful but then I finally found the man that I want to spend eternity with. We are looking forward to being sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. I love all of the arts including sewing, painting, knitting, cross-stitchery, quilting and creating photo collages and scrapbooks for my family. I love gardening and exploring the outdoors. I love geneology and currently am researching my family history using new.familysearch.org and ancestry.com. I volunteer as an indexer for FamilySearch. I love reading the stories about my ancestors, finding pictures and discovering new information about them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ because I know that the Book of Mormon is a true record of His people that lived here upon the earth on this continent (the American continent) and that they truly saw the Saviour and were taught by Him (3 Nephi 10-30). I know this because from the Bible it says that "other sheep I have which are not of this fold..." John 10:16 I believe and know that as young boy at the tender age of only 14 yrs old Joseph Smith was called as a true prophet of God and that he fervently prayed after reading James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not.." I know that he received an answer to his prayers and was privileged to see God and His Son Jesus Christ who told him that none of the churches on the earth were true because as the Lord had given His gospel to the people of Israel and as the apostles of His early church had written down His words, many of these precious truths had been taken out of the Bible as it passed through many generations down to this time. I come from a heritage of people that crossed the plains from Nauvoo and also as immigrants to the Salt Lake Valley. I am grateful for the many sacrifices they made so that I and my family might have the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for Temples being on the earth once more and having the privilege and opportunity to attend these sacred places of worship. Through my own tests and trials of my life so far I have come to the knowledge and testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints truly is His church restored again upon the earth. I have felt His surrounding love and grace each time I have knelt in prayer and a witness through the Holy Ghost that these things are true. I am grateful for all of these experiences and knowledge that I have received.

How I live my faith

I am a member of a ward in Orem, Utah and I am currently volunteering as an indexer to help in the work of family history. I am researching my own family history as well. I am looking forward to going to the Temple and being sealed to my husband and children so that we can be a family forever.
