Hi I'm Ariel

I grew up in Utah. I am a singer. I am a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of three children, I have an older sister and a little brother. My family is my foundation and I love them with all of my heart. We are the best of friends when it matters most, mostly though, we act just like normal brothers and sisters... the good the bad and the ugly. I have been going to a university since fall of 2009. I am studying elementary education and hope to one day be a seminary teacher. I have been invovled in choir since fourth grade. Music is my passion and my testimony. I have always loved to make things with my hands and have done well making jewelry to fund my involvement in choir. I am independent to a fault, but experiences in my life have humbled me to the fact that sometimes, many times, we cannot make it through on our own. That is why we are given each other. I am currently a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is, so far, the most challenging endevour I have ever commited myself to. But as there is opposition in all things, it is also the greatest blessing in my life so far.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into the church. That however, does not mean that my life has been smooth sailing. Through my trials in life I have discovered that there is one constant that gets me through, the Gospel. The Lord will never leave your side no matter how lonely or depressed, in fact, those are the times he will be the closest. If you simply ask. It takes a lot to humble myself at times, but as soon as I do the comfort I feel makes me wish that I had asked sooner. Without the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life I don't know where I would be. I know that many people say this, that does not mean that is any lesser of a statement. My life would not be in the place that it is if it were not for my membership in the LDS Church. It has shaped my life, values, views, and expecations of myself and others. I owe all that I am to my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my Heavenly Father every day. I am currently a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in the Texas Houston East Mission. My duty, responsibility, and commitment is to bring the world the truth of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
