Hi I'm Allie

I'm me, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My parents are both converts to the church, joining it before I was born, so I have always been taught the Gospel and encourage to live it. I was baptized when I was eight, and I will never forget the great feeling the Spirit brought me when I entered the water to be washed clean. I live with my outstanding mother, my hardworking father, and my three talented and inpiring brothers. My parents are the first LDS converts to the church in our extended family, and they are proud of it. My parents support me in my hobbies, which include swimming, writing, crafting (sewing, paper crafting, etc.), persuing my musical talents (violin and piano), and many, many other things. I have a job as a piano teacher, and want to continue helping other young girls and boys realize their talents with the piano, I want to go to collage, serve a mission (particularly a Temple Square Mission, call me crazy, but I do), and get married in the temple. My dream job would be to own a ranch where I would teach kids how to ride horses and work on a farm with other animals. I love to serve, and I go to the Bishop Storehouse as often as I can. I am a gonna-be author, a crazy and wild girl who loves her smoothies cold and smooth, and I am a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I first gained a testimony by seeing my parents faithfully follow and live the Gospel. My mother has shown me diligence in reading your scriptures, serving others, and praying every morning and night, as well as over every meal. My father is a wonderful example to me of what it means to do your very best in your calling and church duties. As I have seen my parents examples, I have grown to understand and want to live the Gospel. Because my mother has shown diligent scripture study, I now strive to be like her in reading and praying daily. Though I have not recieved my first calling, when I do, I know that I will follow my father's example in doing my very best. I know that Jesus Christ lived and died for us, and I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and only wants the best for me. I hope that by my example I can bring others to an understanding of the Gosple. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying my scriptures, praying daily, serving others in and outside of my home, and being an example of the believers. I am honored to be a child of God, to be asked to do him work and share his Gospel. This is a privalage that I am blessed to have, to grow up in a home that has the Gospel. I want to share the opportunity with future generations by sharing the Gospel with those that will one day become parents and that will be able to teach others. I am excited to become a full time missionary, and I prepare now by practicing. I love the Gospel and want to do good, and isn't that where every testimony begins?
