Hi I'm Rick Frillman

I'm a Mormon. I'm from Washington, D. C. originally, raised in Maryland and now live in Georgia.

About Me

I am married and have 5 children. 2 beautiful daughters and 3 wonderful sons. I also have 3 grandchildren. I love outdoor activities. I enjoy camping with my family and hiking. I love to go fishing with my 3 year old grandson and wonderful wife. I also enjoy spending time in the garden and watching life grow. I am self employed in home improvements and also have a store where we sell reconditioned appliances and repair lawn equipment. I started out attending a catholic church because my mother was a catholic. My Father (earthly) invited those pushy missionaries to return on a saturday morning so he could end their attempts to convert him by proving them wrong. However, when they returned on the next saturday, they patiently listened to my father and then were invited to speak. The rest is history.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember listening to the lessons from the missionaries and knowing that what they were teaching was true. I was baptised when I was 8 years of age and have continued to learn since. I have made more covenants with God over the years and have been blessed with more than I could ask for. I know that my Father in heaven lives and his son Jesus Christ is the head of this church. I know that this is the true gospel that was restored by Joseph Smith. I know that we continue to be lead by a Prophet of God in these latter days. And I know that God loves us all and he is pleased when we do good. I am so grateful for my membership in this church and all of the many blessings that I receive from my participation in God's plan for our salvation.

How I live my faith

I live in a small town with my family. Some have grown and left the nest and some are still living at home. I am greatful to have had the oppertunity I have had to raise them and teach them. I am not perfect but because of the gospel I have had the chance to repent and been given a reason to improve and better myself. We attend church regularly and have had many callings to help other people in many ways. I feel really good when I have been able to help someone in need. God has given me many talents and I feel that I should share my talents to help others whenever possible. I love all of my friends in church and really enjoy spending time with them. I also love spending time with my beautiful wife and taking her to the temple. I love to share the gospel with others whenever possible.
