Hi I'm Ben Emett

I work as dental technician. I plan to go to medical school. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a 21 year-old college student living with my parents in Saint George, Utah. I plan for my studies to lead me into the medical field later in life. I love playing soccer with my friends and also enjoy playing a newer sport called footgolf which is like a mix between soccer and golf. My team won the only footgolf tournament that has ever come to Saint George. I'm one of 10 children so there is always some kind of party going on at my house.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints because that is how i can be truly happy. I have my mistakes like we all do, but i'm convinced that there is no better way to feel forgiveness from those mistakes than by putting into practice the gospel that the Lord has outlined to His prophets in the Mormon church. God loves me and I love Him. The way I can feel closest to Him is by abiding by the principles that are found in this church. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy!

How I live my faith

I currently attend a special organization in the church called a single's ward, which is a ward made up almost entirely of youth from ages 18-30. I have a calling, or assignment, to oversee the missionary efforts of this ward. I often go out and visit people who are learning more about the church of Jesus Christ. With the other ward missionaries i also visit those who are struggling with their faith or who have fallen away. I try my best to be an example of helping others to come unto Christ. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ requires much more than just fulfilling with one calling, it's about living a Christ-like life. I try my best to help others and be studying the word of God and be praying to show that certain reverence to God everyday of my life.
