Hi I'm Elsa

I was born in Haiti. I am a mom, a graduate student and I am a mormon.

About Me

I'm a single mom to an 18 year old college freshman. I'm also a graduate student and work fulltime for a managed care company. I love to swim and dance especially to Haitian music. I love to cook for my friends and family and love to travel. I am also the mom to a 4 year old Chi hua hua who is the ruler of our household.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the LDS church when a friend of mine shared his faith with me. I joined the church because I believe it is God's that has been restored on earth. I also believe that the book of Mormon is the true word of God delivered through the prophet Joseph Smith. I don't believe that it replaces the bible but is a companion to the bible. Nothing challenges me and open my mind as much as the bible and the book of Mormon do.

How I live my faith

One of the things that the church has exposed me to is the area of family history. I am currently working on my own family history and learning how to others research their ancestry. I serve anywhere I am needed whether it's to make a meal for a sick member or drive someone to church.
