Hi I'm Collin Dayley

I am the middle child in a family of four boys.I am a college student. I am an Eagle Scout. I am in love with music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Collin Dayley. I am nineteen years old and just completed my first year of college. I love music, whether it be listening to it or learning to play new instruments. I love watching and playing sports. Growing up in Texas, football was the natural path for me to take. I played football from the time that I was in fifth grade until I graduated from high school. I love making new friends and spending time with the friends that I have already made. I love to laugh and have a great time, sometimes a bit more than I should. In the next month I will be leaving to serve a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Washington Seattle Mission. I love life, and I love the happiness that the gospel brings to the life I live.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a family of members was the base of my faith and mainly why I spent my youth attending church meetings and activities. The truth of the matter however is, I am a very stubborn person and usually will not do something just because someone tells me that I should. I am definitely a person who likes to know why I do the things I do. The thing that really brought about a true conversion within myself is the experiences that I have had with my interactions with the church. I love the fact that our Father in Heaven almost dares us to live his commandments and see how they will bless our lives. The root of my testimony comes from experience, and the faith that experience builds. I am so very happy to have had so many good examples around me to show me how I should live and the principles that would enrich my life. I love how the blessings that we get from keeping the commandments are not just a hollow promise. Our Heavenly Father loves us and blesses us. The love that He is for us is limitless, and I love knowing that he cares. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's restored church on the earth today, and all are invited to come. To know for yourself if the things are true, offer up a prayer to Heavenly Father and ask with a sincere heart if the Church is true and He will answer you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example all the time. Our Savior was the ultimate example and I strive to better myself everyday so that I can live to be like Him. I want to be the best example to my family and friends that I can be, and I strive to do that everyday.
