Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student. I come from a small family. My dad is a convert to the church. I am married and living a happy life. I love being with family, reading good books, listening to music that uplifts and inspires. I love photography. It gives me a chance to take in the beauty of this world. I have good family that I love and enjoy spending time with. I believe in a heavenly Father who loves His children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have discovered that the teachings of this church bring me comfort in a really difficult world. I have doubts and concerns about the future as do most people I suspect and the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints help me face those worries with faith and courage. I believe in a personal Savior. One who has time for me. My church teaches me that this is Jesus Christ. He is my friend in a sometimes rather friendless world. I can lean on Him always.

How I live my faith

I believe that the best way to demonstrate your faith in anything is to do what it directs you to. The Gospel of Jesus Christ inspires us not just to know things in this world, but to become something better than we are now. I work with the adult men in my ward. We are called elders. We hold the holy priesthood of God, which is His power given to men on earth, and with it we can do remarkable things. I try to help the men I spend time with each Sunday to see their potential and divine worth. It is so rewarding to see them reach out in loving service to their fellow men.
