Hi I'm Nick

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a wrestling state champion. I'm going to Mozambique to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a small town in Idaho. I grew up on a farm. I've grown up wrestling, it was the biggest part of my life, I own a small wrestling mat. I took State as a senior at 119 lbs. I enjoy coaching my little brother, as well as others. I enjoy modifying and inventing moves. I'm studying to be an Aerospace Engineer at Utah State University. My dream career would be to work for Boeing. I have been working as a cabinet builder for the university over the past year. I enjoy doing physical work and trying to outwork everyone. I'm taking a break from school right now because I've been called to serve a mission to Mozambique.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and always went to church. However in my teenage years and into adulthood i was not active in the gospel. There came a point where I was very unhappy about my life, so I decided to change. I started reading scriptures and praying. I gained a testimony of God and Jesus Christ and his atonement, I found out the book of mormon was true. I knew that it was right, and i can't turn away from it.

How I live my faith

When you know something is right you have to support it. That is the same with the church, I knew it was the right thing so I just had to jump in. I was lucky enough to have good influences all around me so after I became an elder I was always being asked when I was going on my mission and when I was going to the temple. So eventually I had to decide I couldn't be in the gospel half way so I jumped in. I put in my papers and now I'm in the MTC. I decided if you belive something you have to be behind it all the way or it will die, so I'm willing to do anything I'm asked to by the lord (or his servants).
