Hi I'm Christian

I'm a lucky husband, proud father, and marketing professional in a Fortune 500 company, getting my Executive MBA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with my wife and two children. My wife and I love to run and bike together. No better time for just us. For my 4 year old daughter it is playing with her marble tracks and finger paints. For my 2 year old son it is just giving him attention and wrestling him by rubbing my head in his belly. I am passionate about leadership and marketing. I work for the global marketing team at Symantec where I lead one of the global partner marketing teams. I founded the Utah AMA, a marketing association in Utah to help other marketing professionals have a place to learn and network with others. Hoping to be a better business leader myself I am getting my executive MBA which I will complete this spring. My wife and I love to travel. We have a passion for getting to know people from varying cultures and are crossing our fingers we get the opportunity to live internationally.

Why I am a Mormon

For me, there is no other organized religion that does more to support and stregnthen individuals and families in their pursuit of happiness. When I as born my parents were already members of the LDS church. As I think back on the experience I had growing up, I feel extremely blessed. Blessed because our family was always close and came first. It was only later in my life that I realized that my parents faith in and testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ was at the foundation of our family's happiness. This isn't to say that my upbringing was not without questions, challenges or trials. My story of coming to know for myself that the Church is true, is a combination of many small but significant experiences during my life. As I had questions about the truth of this Church and the Book of Mormon, I found myself reading the Book of Mormon and praying to God to know if it was true. As I experience personal challenges I find myself relying upon the faith instilled in me while very young that my Heavenly Father knew who I was and had a plan for me. As I experience trials unique to me and my family, it has been the gospel of Jesus Christ and his atonement that helped me have faith that the next day would be better. In short, for me there has been no better way for me to ensure happiness in my life and that of my family than living the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

How I live my faith

What I enjoy most about participating in this church is the opportunity it provides me to get to know and serve my neighbors and those of my very local community. I volunteer in the church through providing leadership and support to those responsible for teaching and serving the children, youth and adults. What I enjoy most about my leadership responsibilities is being able to visit with others individually or as groups to hear and share how the gospel can help us find purpose and happiness in life.
