Hi I'm Kellie Jessup

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a small town in Utah. I am a 5th grade school teacher. I love teaching and learning. When I am not teaching and working on lesson plans, I enjoy playing most all sports, anything outdoors or just watching a movie with some friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. It was how I was raised, but whether someone is a convert or a member their whole lives, everyone has their own conversion story. I always thought I had a strong testimony until I moved out to collage and left everyone I knew at home. I realized how much I leaned on other's testimonies and that I needed to work on my own. Throughout my time at college and pursuing a career I found vast difference in my life when I was following the Lord's Commandments. I could see the blessing rolling into my life when I was doing the things the Lord taught. I have had so many experience in my life that I could never doubt the Gospel. It has brought peace and comfort during hard times. The more I learn in school, or about science and how the world work, the more it confirms my beliefs. This Gospel bring me peace, joy, happiness and comfort and that is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

In my ward I have served in multiple callings. I have been and FHE Coordinator, a Activities Co-chair, a Sunday School teacher, and Visiting Teaching Supervisor. I am currently serving on the Institute council. Everyone of these callings have helped strengthen and guide me through my life. I have receive many blessing because of these callings.
